Licensed Massage Therapists

  • Alina Simpson

Alina has been offering bodywork for over 19 years. She graduated from a 1000-hour program at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, NY in 2004, where she studied Connective Tissue and Neuromuscular Therapy, Swedish Massage, and Reflexology. Along with many hours of continuing education (see her website) Alina also holds in her heart a profound love of movement, most especially dance. This embodied practice deeply informs her therapeutic bodywork. Your session with her is an integration of intuitive touch, myofascial techniques and energy work. Her intention is to create a safe space for you to rest deeply into your body. She holds the belief that you have inside you what you need to heal and grow, and her role is to listen and support that natural resource, fostering your self-awareness and self-empowerment.

  • Johanna Wearsch

Johanna offers over 10 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist and movement educator for infants, children and adults.  She studied foundational bodywork at the Guild for Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado, and continuing education in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Therapeutic Massage, specializing in Perinatal Bodywork for women.

In bodywork & massage practice, Johanna tends to the whole client in a way that supports the body's innate ability to heal and restore balance in the nervous system. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, yet potent system of healing that increases vitality and can help to resolve acute and chronic pain patterns. She practices a lineage-based approach to bodywork which combines Myofascial Release, Craniosacral and Deep Tissue Massage techniques. Sessions are informed by her studies in Structural Integration (Rolfing), neurovascular mobilization and movement therapy. Slow and patient, Johanna's approach allows for long holds to give the body time for release and whole integration.
